My areas of specialty include substance abuse, crisis intervention, anxiety, depression, and mindfulness. I enjoy working with clients with a wide range of challenges including those listed above as well as relationship issues, anger management, improving low self-esteem and self-confidence.
I possess a genuine enthusiasm for working with adolescents and adults. My passion is helping individuals evaluate their abilities to develop realistic goals. I create a safe space to allow my clients to trust and feel comfortable being vulnerable. My goal is to help clients explore areas of their life that needs improvement and to reach their highest potential self.

Senami Lukula:
MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC-FPA
Senami Lukula is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 12 years of experience in mental health care. She provides evidence-based psychiatric medication management for adults experiencing ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and related mood conditions.
She listens carefully to understand how symptoms impact each patient's daily life and functioning. During treatment, Senami prescribes psychiatric medications when appropriate and incorporates supportive, skills-based therapeutic strategies that patients can begin using right away. Progress is monitored closely, with treatment adjustments made as needed to ensure care remains effective and aligned with patient goals.
Initial appointments focus on a thorough discussion of symptoms, history, and concerns, followed by the development of a clear, individualized treatment plan. Medication options and practical therapy strategies are reviewed in a way that is straightforward and easy to understand, so patients leave with a clear path forward.
Her approach is practical, collaborative, and structured, with an emphasis on education, realistic expectations, and ongoing follow-up. Senami aims to help patients feel more stable, functional, and confident in managing their mental health.
Administrative matters such as insurance coordination and documentation are supported by her team, allowing visits to remain focused on treatment and progress.
Services are offered via secure telehealth across Illinois, Washington, Oregon, and Minnesota, with in-person appointments available in Illinois. New patients are welcome to reach out to discuss whether care at Complete Care Behavioral Health is a good fit.
